In 2020 the Latvian Academy of Culture and Riga Technical University is launching a joint interdisciplinary international master programme in creative industries. The aim of the programme is to train potential leaders of culture and creative industries, who are able to succeed in the changing environment of global economy, who respect creativity and cultural diversity and are willing to act as the agents of change also in other economic fields.
Through the portfolio and problem-based approach the programme will focus on applied creativeness in entrepreneurship and leadership, including creative leadership training, design thinking, improvement of creative and strategic thinking skills, developing coaching and mentoring skills, as well as raising cooperation capacity and creating awareness of entrepreneurship strategies, global development and digital marketing trends.
Bachelor (or an equivalent degree) graduates from various backgrounds with ambitions in leadership, who believe in the potential of creativity and are open to challenges and change. Work experience in creative and/or arts management and/or entrepreneurship will be considered as an advantage. Master graduates from other fields are also welcome.
