ERASMUS+ International Dinner

On the 26th of September, the Latvian Academy of Culture and the Student Council will host an International Dinner for incoming Erasmus students to share their country’s traditional dishes and cultural heritage. 

The International Dinner is a vibrant gathering for Erasmus students and their Latvian mentors to prepare, share, and enjoy each other’s national dishes and traditions, and to broaden their intercultural perspective. The evening is not only about tasting food, but also about acknowledging diversity, building connections, and gaining a deeper understanding of one another’s backgrounds in a fun and friendly way. 

Alongside the various foods and drinks prepared both by foreign students and Latvian participants, presentations are shown to highlight different countries and cities. These often include interesting facts or interactive activities such as songs and dances related to a specific country and its culture, offering a glimpse into each culture’s unique identity. 

It is a cosy and welcoming event is an opportunity to spend time together, have a delicious meal, and learn something new about our new foreign students.
