On December 15 at 6:30 p.m. The Latvian Academy of Culture and the Latvia-Sweden Community invite you to the Lucia Day concert in the hall of the Latvian Academy of Culture, Ludzas Street 24. Intercultural Relations students of the 3rd year of LAC, who are learning Swedish, and students of the 1st and 3rd year of the University of Latvia will perform Lucia's Day and Christmas carols.
Lucia Day is a day of light in the darkness of December and has a strong tradition in Sweden. It is celebrated in homes, kindergartens, schools, workplaces and churches.
