Event Info
Latvian Academy of Culture (LAC) will be hosting the third ACE²-EU Alliance networking event “ACEploration” on 3–4 November 2025, in Riga (LAC campus in the Miera Street 58a quarter). The event will bring together lecturers and researchers from nine European universities. Its aim is to strengthen inter-university cooperation by developing joint interdisciplinary short-term learning programs. Each partner university is invited to delegate two lecturers. Registration is open until 25 September via the online form: https://forms.gle/aXaoNBN7K9SPYSsK7.
The theme of the LAC-hosted event is “Connecting, Engaging and Communicating: across disciplines, communities and cultures.” Discussions will focus on three key areas: fostering dialogue within professional environments, engaging in dialogue with society and communities, and building interdisciplinary and intercultural dialogue. The event will highlight the role of leadership in shaping communication and ensuring societal engagement.
To support participants in preparing their program concepts, assessing outcomes, and exploring future plans, two online sessions are scheduled: a Pre-briefing meeting on 2 October at 12:00 (EEST) and a Post-ACE Review session on 12 December at 12:00 (EEST).
“ACEploration” serves as the ACE²-EU Alliance’s networking platform for academic staff, with the goal of developing new approaches in education, research, and community engagement. Each partner university will host one such networking event, fostering knowledge exchange, sharing pedagogical practices, and initiating collaborative projects.
In 2025, two further “ACEploration” networking events are scheduled:
· 17–18 November 2025, North Macedonia, Goce Delcev University: The theme “Safety and Security for a Resilient and Inclusive Society” will be addressed through three interconnected sub-topics – safe and inclusive societies, physical and digital security for innovation and a resilient Europe, and climate and environmental protection. Registration is open until 25 September: https://forms.gle/wAUtXZ1nPhdUc1v97.
· 3–4 December 2025, Austria, Carinthia University of Applied Sciences: The theme “Designing Future Solutions for Sustainable Development” will guide the development of short-term programme concepts focused on innovative technologies, socially responsible projects, and environmentally sustainable solutions. Registration is open until 25 September: https://forms.gle/PkBWpmcqnRCYJTYZ9.
