From February 11 to 12, the European University Alliance ACE²-EU WP3 meeting took place in Villach, Austria. Hosted by the Carinthia University of Applied Sciences (CUAS), representatives from all ACE²-EU Alliance countries participated in dynamic workshops to generate ideas and explore ways to enhance collaboration in research, innovation, and entrepreneurship. The Latvian Academy of Culture (LAC) was represented by Lolita Ozoliņa and Elizabete Palasiosa.

As part of the European University Alliance ACE2-EU, the "ACE2EU ACEploration" event is taking place from 9 to 12 March 2025 at University Constantin Brâncuși in Romania, with the aim of foster collaboration among institutions and identify joint development opportunities.

From January 20th to 22nd, the SPACE Centre (Societal Partnerships and Cultural Engagement Centre) team gathered for its first in-person meeting at the Latvian Academy of Culture (LAC). The event began with the official opening of the SPACE Centre on the first day, followed by an intensive workshop the next day, where participants focused on planning the Centre’s initiatives and activities for the coming years.

The Erasmus+ funded program is organised in cooperation with European University Alliance ACE2-EU partners from Spain, Lithuania, Portugal, Poland, Austria, Germany and focuses on effective intercultural communication in higher education settings.

On 20 January 2025 at 4:00 PM, the Societal Partnerships and Cultural Engagement Centre (SPACE Centre) will mark its official opening at the Latvian Academy of Culture’s “Gara māja” at Miera Street 58a, Riga. The event highlights a pivotal point in a four-year collaboration under the European university alliance ACE2-EU (Applied, Connected, Entrepreneurial and Engaged – European University), with LAC working together with eight European universities to address future challenges in higher education.

From 9 to 11 December, the Kick-Off event of the European University Alliance ACE2-EU took place at Francisco de Vitoria University in Madrid, bringing together representatives of the nine partner universities of the Alliance, which aims to create a cooperation platform for students, researchers and the public. The Kick-Off event was organised at the highest level, involving representatives from all partner universities and providing an opportunity to strengthen cooperation and represent the Alliance at an international level.

From 9 to 11 December, the kick-off event of the European University Alliance ACE2-EU takes place at the Universidad Francisco de Vitoria in Madrid, Spain. The Latvian Academy of Culture is represented by the Rector Dāvis Sīmanis, the Vice-Rector of Studies Agnese Hermane, and representatives of the ACE2-EU Working Group Ilona Kunda, Ieva Zemite, Ilze Beimane, Signe Bahšteina and Aija Lūse. The event officially launches the cooperation of nine leading European universities through joint initiatives in research, international mobility and education.

On April 11 and 12, a meeting of the European Universities initiative ACE2-EU (Applied, Connected, Entrepreneurial and Engaged – European University) took place at the Embassy of Portugal in Belgium. Latvian Academy of Culture was represented by Agnese Hermane, Una Bluķe, and Ilze Beimane.
