Alliance ACE2-EU partners of the Latvian Academy of Culture visit Printful to learn about intercultural communication
On January 22, as part of the international learning programme (BIP) “Skillset and Mindset for Intercultural Communication in Higher Education Setting”, partners of the Latvian Academy of Culture from the European university alliance ACE2-EU visited the enterprise Printful.
A visit to the successful Latvian founded company was an opportunity to learn how intercultural communication is implemented in a global business player. The experience stories told complemented the theoretical and interactive classes of the five-day learning program organized by the Latvian Academy of Culture. Representatives of Printful shared the challenges they face operating on several continents and employing a large number of employees in different countries. The principles of intercultural communication also apply to the work environment in the Latvian headquarter, where an inclusive and diversity-promoting corporate culture is consciously created. BIP participants were impressed and pleasantly surprised by the importance that Printful attributes to the intercultural communication as a core value, as well as they positively evaluated the involvement of stakeholders and taking the learning programme beyond the university context.
