Irish Embassy Invitation
On March 4 the Latvia-Britain group was invited by the Ambassador of Ireland to attend the opening of the exhibition dedicated to William Butler Yeats (1865-1939), the famous Irish poet and playwright. The exhibition is part of revival of interest in Ireland’s Gaelic literary heritage.
For the students it was a great opportunity not only to gain an insight into W.B. Yeats’ writing but also enjoy talking to the Ambassador and a group of Irish students from Dublin.
