06.05.2025

On 5–6 May, the first meeting of the “European Values and Mobility Task Force” (WP6) within the ACE²-EU European University Alliance takes place at the Lithuanian College of Engineering (Lietuvos inžinerijos kolegija) in Kaunas.

The Latvian Academy of Culture is represented at the meeting by Ilze Beimane, Head of the European Values and Mobility Task Force within ACE²-EU, and WP6 coordinator Signe Bahšteina.

This in-person meeting provides an opportunity to discuss the group’s goals and upcoming plans in depth. A key focus of the task force is the organisation of a large-scale mobility campaign and the development of a comprehensive “Mobility Guide”. Over the next four years, the Alliance aims to facilitate more than 9,000 mobility opportunities, both physical and virtual.

Additionally, the task force will plan and implement several key initiatives, including “International Managers Workshops” and “Stakeholders Workshops,” aimed at strengthening international cooperation and enhancing the quality of mobility across all Alliance partner countries.
