The Latvian Academy of Culture and the Art Academy of Latvia have conceptually agreed on the need to develop an international education programme in animation. By combining the resources of both universities and inviting foreign audiovisual professionals to participate in the development and implementation of the programme, a competitive animation programme will be developed to prepare professionals to work both in support of the Latvian film industry and for the international market.
