
LKA Institute of Arts and Cultural studies at the NCCPR2025 Conference
On August 26, colleagues from the Institute of Arts and Cultural Studies of the Latvian Academy of Culture — Baiba Tjarve, Līga Vinogradova, Lote Katrīna Cērpa, and Laura Brutāne — participated in the conference “Nordic Conference on Cultural Policy Research / NCCPR2025”, organized by Oslo Metropolitan University in Norway.
Two papers were presented:
- Gatekeepers and strategies for initiating cultural visits: similarities and differences among seniors and young audiences” (authors: Baiba Tjarve, Laura Brutāne, Līga Vinogradova, Lote Katrīna Cērpa);
- “Redefining cultural consumption in the digital era” (authors: Baiba Tjarve, Līga Vinogradova, Lote Katrīna Cērpa).
Papers were prepared within the framework of the projects “Striving Towards Participatory Engagement in Museums: Inquiry into Museum Education Practice in Latvia / MEET” (No. lzp-2022/1-0379) and the postdoctoral research project “Bridging the Cultural Divide: Strategies for Rural Families to Curate Digital Cultural Consumption for Youth” (No. 1.1.1.9/LZP/1/24/033).
