LKA Representatives Take Part in ACE²-EU Alliance Meeting on Strengthening Pedagogical Competences

26.09.2025

On 23–24 September, the European Universities Alliance ACE²-EU held a working meeting at Universidad Francisco de Vitoria (UFV) in Madrid, focusing on planning activities for strengthening the pedagogical competences of academic staff and advancing active learning approaches. The Latvian Academy of Culture (LKA) was represented by Agnese Hermane and Kamilla Kūna.

The programme included workshops and practical sessions on creativity, diversity, and intercultural growth, discussions on new projects, as well as hands-on collaboration with UFV students at the Design & Creation Lab.

In the coming years, each partner university will organise two in-person active pedagogy training seminars and several online seminars for academic staff. Two pedagogy practice conferences are also planned – in Madrid in 2026 and in Romania in 2027.
