Participate in an international ideathon from your home!
RIXC Center for New Media Art offers a unique experience for 30 participants (ages from 18-30) who are eager to develop new ideas to participate in an international ideathon which is organized by MEET Digital Culture Center in Milan. Ideathon is a short, intensive, workshop-like experience for students to address some of the most pressing challenges of our time.
On 30th of October, participants will have the chance to take part in an online Zoom conference and discussion on the topic of diversity and social inclusion and to look together for the answer to the question: "How to create a more inclusive and diverse European Union through art, design and digital creativity?"
The ideathon is a part of AUGE | Augmented Europe project which is co-created by MEET Digital Culture Center in Milan, Public Art Lab in Berlin, MADE Group in Thessaloniki and RIXC Center for New Media Art in Riga. 4 ideathons will be held in each respective country on-site and online. They will each focus on a current challenge that the EU is facing, such as climate change, diversity, national identity and developing startups.

If you are interested in participating in Latvia’s ideathon which will be held in Liepaja on 28th of November and will focus on coming up with ideas to tackle climate change, send a separate email!
