The semester at the Latvian Academy of Culture (LAC) has ended for our exchange students
On Tuesday, 17th June, we said goodbye to our international exchange students who spent the spring semester at LAC, celebrating with a screen-printing workshop in our garden.
As every spring, we marked the end of the semester outdoors by creating some souvenirs - t-shirts and tote bags decorated with LAC logos and phrases to take home. Alongside the artistic activities, we enjoyed good conversations, shared stories about the semester, and played some games. Students designed their own prints, drawing inspiration from flowers and leaves found in the garden, or opted for the classic black LAC logo on a white t-shirt.
Wrapping up their exchange studies at LAC, the students expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to work in small groups, receive valuable advice from professors, and gain hands-on experience in audiovisual arts. They also appreciated the events and trips organized especially for exchange students.
We are thankful that our international students chose to spend their semester with us in Riga!
