On 24 January, lecturers of the Department of Sociology and Management of Culture of the Latvian Academy of Culture went on an educational excursion to the Getliņi EKO landfill to learn about waste sorting in the landfill and in everyday life, biodegradable waste recycling, energy production, the connection of the landfill's activities with the circular economy and environmental protection. The lecturers visited the modern greenhouses and learned about their technologies and innovative solutions.
