A Letter of Solidarity for Students in Tbilisi
Dear friends,
On behalf of the students of the Latvian Academy of Culture, we would like to express our deepest support to you in this tense and crucial time. Persistently standing up for your values and those of your fellow human beings can significantly impact the lives of many young people both in Sakartvelo and beyond, even if it means going against the ruling power. We admire each and every one of you who, despite the burdensome circumstances, dare not to remain silent and purposefully move the community towards joining the European Union. Students should have the opportunity to get education in an environment where the study process is not disrupted by an active battle for society's rights, and these conditions are not suitable for that. The students of the Latvian Academy of Culture and the Student Parliament wish you a relentless spirit and the opportunity to achieve your desired outcome as soon as possible! May your way be led by courage, a strong spirit and every word of support helps to bring students closer to a safe and liberated future!
