Open Call for Applications: BIP Development Training in Germany
Academic and administrative staff of the Latvian Academy of Culture are invited to apply for the international ACE²-EU training course “Build your BIP with ACE²-EU: Developing Successful BIPs from Concept to Implementation”, which will take place at Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt, Germany, from 15–19 June 2026.
This Erasmus+ funded course offers an opportunity to explore Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs) as an innovative format for international collaboration and teaching, combining virtual cooperation with short-term mobility. The aim of the programme is to support staff members from ACE²-EU partner institutions in becoming BIP experts by developing the knowledge and skills necessary for designing, coordinating, and strategically integrating BIPs into higher education institutions.
During the programme, administrative staff will gain in-depth knowledge of Erasmus+ BIP organisation principles, funding conditions, coordination processes, and best practice examples. Academic staff, meanwhile, will work on developing their own BIP ideas in international teams, exploring ways to integrate BIPs into teaching, research, and entrepreneurship activities. The course will also focus on inclusive and diversity-sensitive learning environments, communication strategies, and strengthening international cooperation.
Participants will gain practical knowledge on how to develop a BIP project from an initial idea to full implementation. The total workload of the programme is 75 hours. Participants will receive 3 ECTS credits and a certificate of participation. The on-site training in Ingolstadt will take place from 15–19 June, followed by two online sessions on 9 and 16 July 2026.
Application deadline: 29 May 2026 Applications should be sent to: baiba.freimane@lka.edu.lv
