We welcome our new Erasmus+ students

03.02.2026

Last week, we welcomed our new spring semester Erasmus+ students. Students from countries such as France, Germany, the Czech Republic, Portugal, Italy, Kazakhstan, and others spent a week getting to know the Latvian Academy of Culture, Riga, and each other.

From Monday to Saturday, Erasmus students were greeted by an event every day. On Monday, an information day was held, where students learned useful information about the Academy, Riga, and Latvia, and also had a tour of the Academy on Ludzas Street.

A guided tour of Old Riga took place on Tuesday.

On Wednesday, students were introduced to the extraordinary Pauls Stradiņš Museum of the History of Medicine, and in the evening, enjoyed traditional Latvian food and drinks at the Folkclub Ala.

On Thursday, students went to the National Film School and later to the Latvian National Museum of Art.

On Friday, a small trip to Ogre took place, where students went for a hike through the Blue Mountains of Ogre and enjoyed the joys of winter.

Finally, on Saturday, Erasmus+ students went to the National Library of Latvia and then enjoyed lunch at Āgenskalna Market.

We hope the Erasmus+ students had an exciting week full of adventures and wish a great spring semester!
