Since 2025, the Latvian Academy of Culture has been the official Latvian representative in the international research network "EU Kids Online", which unites academic partners from more than 30 European countries.
In September 2018, the "EURAXESS Latvia Contact Point Network" was established in Latvia, with the Latvian Academy of Culture also joining the initiative.
The international project was launched in 1998 by the Council of Europe in cooperation with ERICarts (Germany). Since 2018, the "Compendium Association" has been established, with Latvia joining as a member. Latvia is represented by the Latvian Academy of Culture with the financial support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Latvia.
The main goal of ENO is to ensure and support the sustainable development of arts and cultural education, as well as to initiate and provide joint activities, research-based knowledge, and the dissemination and exchange of innovative practices- thereby fostering the development of arts and cultural education practices and policies.
The "University Network of the European Capitals of Culture (UNeECC)" was established in December 2006 in Pécs, Hungary. The creation of UNeECC is based on the idea that universities and higher education institutions located in European Capitals of Culture could benefit from this well-known and prestigious European initiative to develop new forms of academic and institutional cooperation.
