Postdoctoral research at the LAC is funded by EU programs, currently administered by the Latvian Council of Science. Their aim is to strengthen young researchers’ skills and increase scientific capacity by supporting career development in research institutions or enterprises, enhancing competencies, renewing human resources, and increasing the number of qualified specialists.
LAC researchers and foreign partners have submitted several postdoctoral project applications, of which four have been approved.
