The Latvian Academy of Culture invites its academic staff to apply for participation in the ninth international networking and co-creation event, ACEploration, which will take place at Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt in Germany on 1–2 July 2026. This will be the ninth and final meeting in the “ACEploration” event series, bringing together academic staff from partner universities within the European University Alliance ACE²-EU to network and collaboratively develop micro-credential programmes.
The central theme of this year’s “ACEploration” is “Towards Circular Intelligence: Shaping the Future for Quality of Life”, and the event will focus on three subthemes:
1. Technology and Artificial Intelligence (Applied Reinforcement Learning & Medical Laboratory Techniques Using Digital Imaging)
2. Sustainability (Extending Lifetime / Shortening Lifetime & Management in the Age of Metaprofit)
3. Society (Aspects of AI in Society & The Social Dimension of Sustainable Construction as Collective Social Practices) Further information and the full call for participation: https://www.ace2eu.eu/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/9th-ACEploration-CALL_FH.docx-remade.pdf
Participants will have the opportunity to develop joint international short-format (micro-credential) study courses, find partners for research and innovation projects, strengthen international cooperation within the ACE²-EU Alliance, and collaborate with industry and societal partners.
The ACEploration event in Germany will take place from 1 to 2 July, while an online introductory meeting is scheduled for 15 June and an online evaluation meeting for 24 July. Academic staff participating in the event will have the opportunity to develop international micro-credential courses for the Spring 2027 and Autumn 2028 semesters at the Latvian Academy of Culture.
