When broadening this year’s programme, Valmiera Summer Theatre festival for the first time in its history will be collaborating with the Latvian Academy of Culture (LAC) to create the Baltic “Student shed” – a platform for the emerging professisonal theatre performers from Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. The festival will take place from August 7 to 9 in Valmiera, and its extended programm is set to strenghen this year’s theme “TILTI” (“BRIDGES”), establishing connections between different countries, generations and theatre languages.
