![]() | The Fundamental and Applied Research Projects (FARP) program is a national science funding scheme administered by the Ministry of Education and Science, aimed at scientific excellence and the creation of new knowledge across all fields – natural sciences, engineering and technology, medicine and health, agriculture and veterinary sciences, social sciences, humanities, and arts. Funding is awarded through open competition, as regulated by Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 725 (December 12, 2017). The program is implemented by the Latvian Council of Science. The IACS regularly participates in FARP competitions in the humanities, arts, and social sciences, achieving high competitiveness of project applications in both fields. |
